Our Mission Statement
Ravenscraig is a House of education, mentoring and service founded upon the ideals of Duty, Honor and Civility. We exist to help people with the unique intangibles of life in this community. All of the collective knowledge of the members of Ravenscraig comes from personal experience, sweat, hard work, and tears. That knowledge is backstopped by either graduate or post-graduate education in many different disciplines. Our conviction is that nothing says more than sharing our broad concept of the greater community with others who are searching for insights they can find nowhere else.
The members of Ravenscraig are a family, to be sure. We have gravitated together for one reason or another. Those reasons are as varied as the persons who are part of this special place. We are male, female, Dominant, submissive, het, gay, queer, trans, bi, title holders, professionals, students, fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, sisters and brothers. We are the community that we serve and hope to make better by helping facilitate constructive change.
We do serve. We volunteer at local, regional and national events as presenters, staff members, medics and play space monitors. We are sponsors at events. Relationships are key in Our community. As such, We offer mentoring, counseling, and, if asked, interventions for any woman or man at risk who request Our services.
